  • Aged 19 or over as of 31/8/23
  • Living in England
  • Have lived in the UK/EU/EEA for at least 3 years*
  • Not completed any part of the course before

*EEA nationals will need to have obtained either pre settlement or settled status and provide evidence of this.

The free Digital Literacy course is split into manageable online units

The units cover the most commonly used Microsoft Office applications:

  • Unit 1: Word Processing
  • Unit 2: Spreadsheets
  • Unit 3: PowerPoint
  • Unit 4: Improving Productivity using IT

What you will need:

  • Computer/laptop with Windows 10
  • Internet connection – Browser – Chrome (31+), Edge (Chromium version) or Internet Explorer 11+
  • Basic MS Office knowledge in atleast one application eg MS Word – open and save a document
  • Basic file management skills– must be able to find, open and save a document to a specific location and save an email attachment to a specific location
  • Must have access to video conferencing system to allow audio and visual communication during the assessment
  • Minimum entry requirements –English Level 1
